Key Club Sponsor

Key Club is a student-led high school organization. It is the oldest and largest service leadership organization for teens. It teaches leadership through service to others. Our Kiwanis club supports Key Club service projects, facilitate the Key Club meetings, provide mentorships and provide college scholarships for the Key Club students. We are currently sponsoring the following Kiwanis Key clubs:

• Palm Beach Central High School, Wellington
• Wellington High School, Wellington

Builders Club Sponsor

Builders Clubs are for students age 11-14 to develop leadership, improve self-esteem and learn life skills through service. Our Kiwanis club brings in food and treats and recognizes, supports and encourages the kids, through example, so they feel empowered to do great things in their communities. We support Builders Club service projects, facilitate the Builders Club meetings, provide mentorships. We sponsor the following Kiwanis Builders clubs:

• Emerald Cove Middle School, Wellington
• Wellington Landings Middle School, Wellington
• Somerset Academy, Wellington (Pending)

Aktion Club

We participate annually with transporting the members to and from a designated meeting center and create a program/activity for them. The Aktion Club is a Kiwanis Club for disabled adults

Other Supported Charitable Organizations

We support several other charitable organizations within the community by providing both financial and hands on support during the year.

• Boys and Girls Club – Kiwanis Karnival, Trunk or Treat, PA system donation, 4th of July lunches.
• Quantum House – Provide meals for the current residents and staff.
• Back to Basics – Provide gifts of sneakers, socks and underwear for needy children in PB County Elementary Schools.
• Bryan’s Blankets – Provide blankets.
• Grandma’s Place – Provide food and supplies for the staff.
• St. Georges Soup Kitchen – Provide meals for the homeless and hungry.
• Wreaths Across America – Laying wreaths on the graves of our fallen Military.
• VA Hospital – Provide letters of appreciation to the veterans for their service.
• Hats for Children – Provide hats for children going through cancer treatments.
• Paint your Heart Out – Paint the homes of needy families.
• Clear Mask Distribution – District 20 Project 2021 for Pre-Schools.
• Gleaning – Pick vegetables for the local food banks.
• Forgotten Soldiers Outreach – Provides care packages to our active Military Service Members
• The Jared Box Project – Provides small gift items to children in hospitals
